Children's Ministry


Welcome to Calvary Anaheim's Childern's Ministry


Our Purposes in Children's Ministry.

  • To Lead the Children to Jesus. Mark 10:13-14
  • To set a Foundation for a child's Christian walk. 1 Corinthians 3:11
  • To help parents to diligently teach God's Word. Deuteronomy 6:4-9
  • To instruct Children in God's standard of Righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16
  • To prepare the children to live as believers in a non-believing world. 2 Timothy 3:10-12; Ephesians 6:11

WORSHIP:
All Children gather together for a time of singing, praising and worshiping the Lord. We gather according to age groups, and then dismiss to the classrooms.

CURRICULUM:
Nursery through Pre-K classes are using Karyn Henley Bible Learning Series/Early Childhood. Current lessons are I Help, I Say Thank You, and Jesus Is God's Son, all using teaching from the Bible. Memory verse, Crafts, and Games are used to support each lesson.

1st & 2nd Grades are learning foundational beliefs from Old & New Testament.

3rd through 6th Grades are using Calvary Chapel's Children's Bible Study Support Curriculum. Our approach is to Study through the Bible, starting in Genesis through Revelation. We are currently studying the Book of Acts.
KIDS CLUB - Wednesday Evening
Our Kids Club studies different topical subjects from the Bible. It involves Memory Verse, Crafts, and Games to support the lessons. Our current Series is The Basic Christian Beliefs

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Opportunities for teachers and helpers are available for the following areas; Saturday evenings, Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings. Teacher training and support is available. This is a 8 week * 2 hour classes of Audio/Video. Includes 52 page training manual, 325 Children's Bible Studies for Old & New Testament, Workshops and much more.

Worship Leaders for Saturday evenings, Sunday mornings & evenings. Training and songs available.
